About Us

In the world of home closet and storage systems there seem to be two extremes. One option is highly customized, complicated, and expensive, the other, a functionally inadequate, low quality, afterthought.

On the high cost side, there are many companies offering custom closets and storage solutions. However, these companies offer a mind-numbing variety of colors, styles, options, and accessories, with prices to match. They have “design consultants” come to your house to over-analyze, over-design, over-sell, and overwhelm.

On the flip side, there are low cost/quality DIY systems or simple metal wire shelving, a last minute install as a builder rushes to finish a new home. These are a poor utilization of space, have weak structural integrity, and a bad aesthetic.

Hare & Hound Closets’ goal is to provide high quality, simple, and elegant storage systems tailored to the space and requirements of the customer that are more cost effective than other options. By having a unique design and manufacturing system, limited number of colors and configuration choices, we can quickly and economically provide the benefits of a storage system that will satisfy most customer needs without a burdensome and costly marketing, design, and production program. Hare & Hound Closets distills the important aspects of a storage solution: quality, functionality, simplicity, and value.
